Time from Last Supper to Duomo

Afternoon!!! Grabbing the last set of tix for our trip and looking for some advice.

We have tix to LSupoer @ 12:30. How long will it take us to do the tour then be back at the Duomo?
Second question, the website states the Duomo is open til 4pm but they have entry availability from 3:30-4pm. Are you allowed to stay? Not sure how that works.

My thought was we see LS then grab a bite for lunch then be at Duomo for timed entrance at 2:30-3:00. That seem reasonable with enough time to explore church and terraces??

You’re only in the Last Supper for 15 minutes. I think we lined up and waited for the group ahead of us. It wasn’t very long.

Yes, be there half hour before then 15 minutes in. Just making sure we have enough time to snack and get to Duomo in plenty of time to see it all.

Just my opinion, get lunch before LS. If I remember correctly, it was a little bit of a jaunt back to the Duomo.

It took me 28 minutes to walk from the Last Supper to my hotel near the Duomo, the Gran Duca di York. I'd add 5 more minutes onto that for getting to the Duomo. I'd think you could be back to the Duomo by 2:30 and that is generous.

Is your Last Supper ticket for an English speaking tour? If so I'd say 15 minutes for the guide to talk before you enter the Last Supper, 15 minutes (strictly timed and you are moved out) for your time in the room where the fresco is, and then a little additional time after for the guide to talk more and collect the whispersets. I have not gone in there without a guided tour so don't know the timings on that.

Do download the CityMapper app which will route you on the quickest walking route between the Last Supper location and the Duomo.

I have no idea what tix I bought!!! I was in a queue then got kicked out then had to reenter the queue again. Crazy!!
I ended up buying two add ons but not really sure what they are. An audio guide and a book maybe?? Couldn’t figure out how to remove them and I just checked out. 😂😂😂😂
However I do not believe we are doing a tour with a guide.

So, even if we walk (RS book says there’s a bus or tram but I don’t have book in front of me) we could realistically be at Duomo by 1:30.

Great! We can grab a quick bite and be at the Duomo by 2:30-3:00 entrance time.

Thank you all!!!

Oh Cissy, that made me laugh and yes, I have done the same thing in frustration.

Maybe you'll be able to figure it out based on what you've paid.

Basic admission: 15E
Extra for guided tour: 9E
Guidebook: 12 E

Be sure you are there 30 minutes early. I see that now to get the audioguide you have to leave a piece of ID. I carry my US drivers license with me to leave as collateral.

There is no audio guide in English, but there is a QR code where you get the audio guides. Download that, and you will have an English commentary. It is not your guide's commentary but a good commentary about The Last Supper.

Be there 30 minutes before to check in and get the audio guide if you have reserved one. Meet your group and enter at the time you have reserved. There is a brief - perhaps 10 minutes - waiting in the hallway where the English commentary discusses the church and Leonardo Da Vinci's life. The guide is speaking to the group in Italian. Then the doors open, and you are in the large room with The Last Supper. You will be in there for 15 minutes. No one in our group went up close to the fresco. There are some seats. The guide will continue to talk in Italian, and those with the English download will have a commentary as well. Perhaps take binoculars?
