Time for Last Supper

We are arriving in Milan at about noon on a Thursday in October and headed straight to Venice that night. All our lodging is fixed at this point. My question is (given your more experienced opinions) can we squeeze in the Last Supper before catching our train to Venice? We aren't buying the train tickets until we get to Milan and don't have a set time that we need to get to Venice. My preference is by 7-8 pm but even that is flexible. Any thoughts?

Don't book the Last Supper visit too early since you need time to collect luggage, take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale, deposit luggage at their storage office, and get to the church 20 minutes before the reserved entry time. If your flight were delayed, you would miss it. There can be a line at the left-luggage office for either drop-off or retrieval.

Milano Centrale station to Venezia S. Lucia takes 2.5 hours, such as departing at 17:35 to arrive at 20:10, or the next direct one is currently 19:05 to arrive 21:40, or there are two more direct trains after that. Re-check October train schedules in mid-summer. I assume you'll be tired and will pick up sandwiches in the station and take a little nap on that train, until you reach the end of the line.

Assuming we deboard the plane by 1 pm (about 45 min margin), is it reasonable to expect to be through customs/immigration/baggage and to Milano Centrale by 3 pm?How much time would I need to plan for stowing the bags and arriving at Santa Maria delle Grazie? Plan an hour there then return time for a 17:30 ish train to Venice? Is this too aggressive of a plan?

Figured I'd give this one last chance with a bump. Anyone with experience that could provide some insight?

There is no reasonable time expectation to clear immigration because there is not a steady flow of traffic, you would have a lot of research to do if you want to calculate how many international flights are landing when yours does, if everyone shows up for work that day to keep the line moving, etc.

I would try for an appointment as late in the afternoon as possible, you will definitely be in the Cenacolo no more than an hour (15-20 minutes with the painting but you have to be there about 30 minutes ahead).

If your plane lands on time.
