I'm planning to take an unlocked tablet with 4G to Italy with us. I'm looking at Samsung Galaxies that take microsim or nanosim cards. I'm worried that a TIM card won't work in these devices. Does anyone know if TIM cards come in more than one size?

Pretty much all the prepaid SIM cards these days are "3-in-1" cards - they can be broken down to fit any of the three sizes including microSIM and nanoSIM. In other words, don't worry about it, your TIM SIM will fit in the tablet. ;-)
Just make sure the TIM SIM you are buying actually supports tablets - that's a bigger issue than whether the SIM will physically fit in the tablet. Every SIM plan is different. Some will support tablets, some won't.

They fit on any tablet. Just make sure you tell the store clerk you need a plan for a tablet. They are usually cheaper than phone plans too.
