tickets to Uffizi and Accademia

I am ready to purchase tickets to the Uffizi and Accademia. I am looking at the city's official site and need some help please. What is the difference between full, reduced and free? I am thinking about going to Uffizi in the early morning and Accademia later afternoon. Does this sound like a good plan and what would be the best time in the afternoon?

Thanks, yet again!

Adults should buy full-priced tickets. If you have kids under 18, they can get the free tickets. Other reductions, e.g., for students age 18+, are not for foreign visitors.

The timing sounds fine. Many people don't spend more than two hours in the Uffizi and less in the Accademia. You'd probably plan to go after lunch, although during lunch (1:00 - 2:00) could be less crowded.

Go to the Uffizi as early as possible. They open at 08:15. Well worth getting up early because the museum gets very crowded quickly. You can catch the Accademia in late afternoon 5:00ish and have plenty of time to see the David and Michelangelo's unfinished works.

Have fun in Florence!

Thank you for answering my questions. I like the thought of not going right from one to the other without a break. Any suggestions for what to do in the general area in that "between time"? We have tours booked for Coliseum and Vatican already.

Oh dear, my mistake, haha. Cancel the statement about the Coliseum and Vactican, wrong city!
