I’m trying to get tickets to visit this site. However, I cannot figure out the difference between the tickets on weekends vs during the week. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m on mobile or the translation isn’t making sense to me. Is there something additional on the weekends vs. weekday?
Also if you’ve visited, would you recommend it?
The Domus Aurea Restoration Work-site is open for visitors only Friday through Sunday. From Monday to Thursday you can see only the Raffaello Exhibition

Yes, yes, yes to visiting. We did this 2 years ago and it was wonderful. We looked at the immediate landscape around the area in a whole new way after the tour. The shear size of the project is impressive and because this is an active archeological site, what you see will be different that what we saw 2 years ago. You are walking through the actual rooms.
