Tickets in Florence

We will be in Florence in September. Is there an option to only purchase tickets to the Duomo museum? Should we purchase tickets to the Duomo Museum, Bargello, Santa Croce, Pitti Palace, Palazzo Vecchio, or Museum, of San Marco before we arrive? If so, how far ahead?

No, you have to purchase one of the 3 pass options which include it, the Ghiberti Pass being the lesser- priced of them.

For most of them no, I wouldn't think you'd need advance tickets.

Based on my experience from a couple of years ago, I would get whatever Duomo ticket you pick and Santa Croce tickets in advance.

Hi,
I was in Florence in November 2025 and purchased my tix to the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and Santo Croce about 3 weeks in advance. My buddy and I walked up to the Boboli Gardens, which is part of the Pitti Palace on a weekday and walked right in. No line at either place.
Since Covid, I've been lucky enough to have been to Paris 2X, Frankfurt, D-Day beaches, Haarlem, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Sienna, Bologna, and Budapest and I try to buy ALL of my tickets to any major site in advance - it just makes sense, eliminates the risk of getting shut out, and it helps me plan my time, knowing that I have to be somewhere at 9:00 and somewhere else at 2:00. But to each his own.
