Tickets for St. Mark Basilica

I tried this morning to buy tickets for the basilica on their website to avoid the lines but was unable to buy them for May 6,7,8. Are there only a certain number of tickets available online? I am trying to avoid standing in line but might consider a tour if someone had an excellent tour to recommend for just the basilica. Thanks very much.

Are you on the official website? It is not easy to find.

https://basilicasanmarco.skiperformance.com/en/store#/en/buy?skugroup_id=2524

And it is not easy to use. I found tickets to the Basilica only, on 7 May and 8 May at 16:00. Other tickets ( Basilica plus museum, which is what I choose) available as well.

Make your choice from the types of visit offered, and hit “buy tickets”. On the next page, use the “start validity” button on the right under “buy products” to open the calendar. Choose May 7 (or 8) and enter the number of tickets you want. Then touch “choose a time range” at the top (not one of the 30-minute slots listed below that). The drop-down menu will offer 9:30-15:29, or 15:30 - 16:00. The upper one will not produce any tickets, but choose the lower one (15:30 - 16:00) and it should offer you tickets for 16:00-16:30—they are in green. add those to your cart and hopefully it will work OK from there.

Thanks so much. Yes, I did the exact thing but I was reluctant to get tickets for that time because according to the website they close at 17:00. I wil try again, though, using the basilica and museum. I was trying just basilica, then basilica and golden alter and museums and then different combinations. I think the problem might be, also, that I waited too late and the basilica is closed on May 9th. Thanks again.

Is anyone else unable to see the "choose time range"? When I try to book only the 30 minute time slots appear and they're greyed out and can't be clicked on. I'm trying to book for June 28th if helpful, I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.

I bought the tickets for a night tour of St. Marks and it was wonderful. We did four nights in Venice before the Villages tour.
