What dates are you going to be in Rome? Tickets are on sale now up until mid-September.

We will be in Rome in early October but Borghese tickets haven't been released yet for the time frame when we will be there. My understanding is that there is no rhyme or reason as to when a block of tickets are released so I am just monitoring the website daily to see when tickets will become available for our time frame. The Borghese has a spectacular array of art that shouldn't be missed if you are in Rome; it is one of our favorites in all of Italy. Just keep checking back for the time frame when you will be there in order to purchase tickets.

sorry... one more question about the ticket to Colosseum. It seems like the website only release the tickets for 7 day at a time instead of 30 days in advance. Am i right? I just checked they only released up to 7/30 .

I thought you can get discount on the Borghese tickets if you buy the 2 or 3 days Roma pass. I did not see the option on the website.

Tickets for the Borghese on August 8/27 are already on sale from the website listed above and are available now. Colosseum tickets will be released for sale exactly 30 days before the date at specific times based upon the time in Rome on their new website so you have a few days to prepare to get tickets if you are interested. Search this website for Colosseum tickets and you will find very specific instructions as to how to buy the tickets online.

i only see the released date til 7/30.

Right now the standard 24 hr ticket has availability through August 22 - you just have to advance the calendar. If you're looking at a ticket for arena, attic or underground access, you're lucky that there is any availability at all. For dates in August, check back frequently. And some August dates indicate they are sold out.

I thought you can get discount on the Borghese tickets if you buy the
2 or 3 days Roma pass.

The 48-hour pass isn't currently on the website and hasn't been for awhile. They're only selling the 72-hour version.

See this list for discounts the Roma Pass offers if not choosing any of them as your 2 'free' options with the 72-hour pass (which really aren't free as you're paying for the pass.)
https://www.romapass.it/files/doc/museums_price_of_tickets_eng.pdf

Important: the pass on its own doesn't allow you entry to the Borghese: you must also have a reservation, and there may not be any open time slots for the dates you'll be visiting Rome. Same for the Colosseum. Under the "Buy" section of the website:
https://www.romapass.it/en/buy/

"If you want to use Roma Pass for the COLOSSEO and the GALLERIA BORGHESE CHECK AVAILABILITY FIRST (see FAQ 7.1)."

"BEFORE PURCHASING, please check through the official websites, that the spots you wish to visit are open and/or active with the Roma Pass service (for details see this page)."

Editing to add: part of the museum has been closed for renovations, the 50 paintings impacted temporarily moved to Palazzo Barberini, and ticket price also temporarily reduced. The Palazzo Barberini, exhibition was supposed to be completed end of June but has been extended to end this month. All should be back in place at the Borghese when you visit end of August but (welcome to Italy) emphasis on "should". Keep checking the "news" section of the museums's website.

Thank you all for the responses. Do you think i should get the guided tour or just follow RS for the Colosseum? The tickets for the one with Supersite is not available yet. They only release for the next 7 days.
