Tickets for Inter Milan vs Juventus

Hello,

I will be in Italy for two weeks in March and want to buy soccer tickets either for Inter Milan vs Juventus (Mar 22) or Lazio vs Roma (19 Mar). Inter Milan won't release tickets until a week prior and I don't know a safe place to purchase them.

Does anyone have any experience / advice? I would be so grateful! Thanks.

Thanks very much. I will check with my hotel. Also, I've seen many websites (sportsemotion.com for one) that claim to sell tickets to these matches. I consider my trip to Italy a (perhaps) once in a lifetime opportunity and am willing to pay extra for these tickets - I just don't want to pay extra for fake tickets and not be able to get in.

Do you know if these website are reputable? Thanks again.

It will be hard to get tickets for these matches as they are big rivalries. For Inter, this page lists the music store that sells advance tickets and the online seller: http://tinyurl.com/37fjrk For Lazio tickets, check with your hotel in Rome they should know of the locations of the that sell advance tickets, usually various banks in Rome.

Lazio vs. Roma will be difficult to get tickets at because its the inter-Rome derby. However, if you are willing to pay a little extra your hotel can almost certainly get tickets for you.

One suggestion if you've never been to a match in Italy before is DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES applaud the road team. Italian fans can be very rude to someone who supports the road team sitting in the home team section. Buy yourself a scarf for that team and try and copy the chants they are doing.

The websites are reputable, but the downside (other than the cost) is that they often can't deliver tickets until the day of the match. So you may have to wait in your hotel for a good chunk of the day until they are delivered. Having said that I'm using a ticket broker (www.esatour.it)for the AC Milan v Arsenal match in two weeks. I got a package deal, I'm paying a lot for the tickets, but the travel agency was able to get me a very good deal on the hotel rate. Do not buy tickets from scalpers outside the stadium on the day of the match. Tickets now have names printed on them and stadium officials match IDs to the tickets.

Thanks again! You've been a great help. Did you get your tickets from your broker or do you have to wait all day as well?

Enjoy your match! It sounds very exciting!

I'll have to wait. They have assured me that the tickets will be waiting for me when I check-in to the hotel the day before the match.

I found out yesterday (by having my son spy) that my husband is a big AC Milan fan - not Inter Milan as I thought. So now I am in the market for AC Milan tickets.

I am assuming same rules apply; you can't get them from the website until about a week - two until the game and use a broker - correct?

I am sorry we won't see AC Milan vs Arsenal - my husband supports AC Milan and my son supports Arsenal - it would have been great for them both.

AC Milan doesn't sell tickets via the internet anymore. You have to go to a branch of Intesa Bank or some other shops around Milan. You can get a full list here:

Well, since I'm only going to be in Milan because of the game I will try the broker you are using.

Thanks again for all of your help and enjoy your trip!
