We are in Florence mid June for the Best of Europe in 14 days tour and trying to order tickets for Bruneileschi's Dome. Our itinerary recommends tickets at 2:30 pm on day 4 (June 13). However, the only tickets available for that tour or the Giotto's Bell Tour are in the evening. What have others' experience been if you end up on a tour at 5 pm or later? It looks as if we have dinner as a group that night.

Are you talking about taking a guided tour or just buying one of the passes? There are plenty of tickets available throughout that day for either the Brunelleschi Pass or the Giotto Pass. We purchased 2 Giotto Passes for our free time in Florence on the VFR Tour. To be honest, buying a pass and taking Rick's book on Florence along was perfectly fine for us.
