Tickets for Borghese gallery

Who should I buy tickets from for the gallery?

Just be aware that the link provided is to the English side of the Borghese's website, but when you click on "Buy" you go to an Italian Cultural Heritage site, where you'll have to hit the "Acquisto subito" ("buy immediately") button in red to go to an Italian museum site, where you need to hit the "Acquisto biglietto" (buy tickets) button under the picture of the "Galleria Borghese"......and that will then take you to a ticketing site, in Italian. Where you can buy the tickets.

And then there's a reCaptcha test in Italian, so remember, Google Translate is your friend. How do you click on all the pictures of traffic lights unless you know the Italian for traffic lights?

It ain't easy.

ignore the second message above. Just Click here https://bit.ly/2HoMDIA
If the site switches to Italian, Scroll down the page till you see a language menu, open it and select English.

Using an Italian site google-translated in English to make a purchase is the best way to get into trouble. The site doesn't "know" you are a foreigner and asks you to fill fields meant for italians.

Dario, we were probably typing at the same time but my link is coming up in English as well. It has been a little touchy in the past, thus the instruction to look for the dropdown in English if needed.

In either case, our OP now has two links which will simplify the process, eh? :O)

Hey, thanks for the direct link! It was ridiculously complicated before. You'll still might have the Italian reCAPTCHA stuff, though.

I just called them and found them easy to deal with, we booked our tickets directly over the phone

And watch the European date listings --- it is day/month/year. It is NOT month/day/year as is common in the US. More than one posting here about selecting the wrong date.

A good reminder, Frank! Fortunately it's not as easy to mess it up on this particular website as you choose by clicking the day you want on a calendar versus inputting a date.
