Just purchased 2 ticketless train tickets last night on Trenitalia's website. I printed them off but now how do I use them when I get to Italy? Do I have to trade them in at the train station office? How do I validate them before getting on the train, etc.?

If you booked a specific train with a specific seat you don't need to validate a ticket. It can't be used on any other train but that specific one. When the conductor comes to you and asks for your ticket just show him the printed receipt and the PNR number and he,ll look it up on his hand scanner. Thats all there is to it. Donna

Ditto Donna. The conductor should have a wireless PDA.
