Rick's Rome book cites the S.U.P.E.R ticket as accessing these three sites. The coopculture.it website cited by Rick includes product options for regular timed entry to the Colosseum-Forum-Palatine sites with one ticket but in the S.U.P.E.R. ticket option, the site notes that it is a new product as of March 11 which is good for Forum-Palatine entrance at any time, but does not mention the Colosseum. There is no other S.U.P.E.R. ticket product offered. Bottom line: I can not tell if the S.U.P.E.R. ticket includes access to the Colosseum because it is not stated explicitly in the coopculture text. Is this a change in the product line since Rick wrote the book or am I missing something? Tony Eugene
All admissions are free during culture week.
Culture week was last month so is over for the year.
No, the S.U.P.E.R. ticket bought online doesn't include the Colosseum. The details are here:
Yes, there have probably been multiple changes to ticketing since the book was published. The coopculture site itself has seen enough changes this past year that it's hard to keep up with them all! There may be more before the year is out.
Thanks for the explanation, Kathy. Tony Eugene
Just FYI on some upcoming changes later this year in case anyone is interested:
In November, there will be a "Full Experience" ticket which will include the S.U.P.E.R. ticket sites plus the Colosseum. Exactly when and how that ticket will go on sale (quarterly? monthly?) has not been announced.
