Tiburtini station to Prati area

Normally my husband and I travel by bus and metro, this trip is with our adult family of 7 so we want to make it simpler to fine the apt. Any suggestions? We need to get from tiburtini to our apt. in the Prati area. Will it be difficult to get a van at the station? My husband thinks it will be no problem but I really need to know what to expect . The picture of wandering around without a clue is not what I look forward too.

Tiburtina has a taxi station, but cabs that take 4 are common, 5 uncommon, and more than 5, rare indeed. I would book a private transfer with someone like www.Romecab.com. You can specify your needs and destination and get a quote before you decide. They will meet you and help with luggage, unlike a taxi where you take your chance. You can, of course, take 2 taxis, but I suspect a private transfer would cost less (at least no more).

It would be quite a trip by public transportation, depending on where your apartment is in Prati.

Correct URL is www.romecabS.com.

I agree with Laurel, Rome cabs would be the easiest as you'd all be in I vehicle. You could use this as a comparison. You'd need two taxis.

Not knowing your location, I plugged in the Pantheon area. If you know the exact address change to that.

Understand there's a charge for over 2 passengers and an additional charge of €1 for each piece of luggage.

Here's the new version.

Note, for future reference, all you needed to do was scroll down and change the destination. Looks like it's the same price. With heavy traffic its higher.

I normally would use my favourite Rome bus, the 492, for Tiburtina to Prati, but you are much too far north for the 492.

Arranging a car service will be easier if you want an easier journey.
