I just received an email from Through Eternity that they do not offer the 3.5 hr tour during the time period we will be in Rome. I understand they are one of the best. Can someone recommend another tour company around the same price?

Hi Joseline. Not sure from your question which specific tour you are looking to take but you might try Context Rome. Rick recommends them in his 2008 book. Their web site is as follows:

Hi Joseline,
www.enjoyrome.com has some things to offer. We used them to book a bus to Pompei, but the office staff was very friendly, spoke great English and it seemed like they had a lot to offer.
