Three Tenors, Rome and the Eatley.

I am hoping to see the Three Tenors in Rome this fall. The question is, should I include the Eatley. We have an "Eatley" in Boston, but for me, it is overwhleming, terribly crowded and noisy - not a quiet dinner place. Has anyone done the combination of ticket and concert? I assume you eat at the Eatley and then walk to the nearby concert hall. Any information would be helpful.

Do you mean "Eataly"? I have been to a few of them in Italy, I prefer them for shopping rather than dining.

You're right about Eataly. It's an interesting place, but not very calm. Plus, it's an American chain, despite the Italian goods. Since you'll actually BE IN ROME... why not go someplace truly local for dinner?
Where will you see the Three Tenors perform? If you specify the neighborhood, you should be able to get restaurant recommendations from people here.
Good luck and have a wonderful time.

Not so. It was founded in Turin and it's worldwide HQ is in Monticello d'Alba.

We liked to peruse Eataly a couple of times a year and maybe have lunch there when we lived in Roma, but evening dining is expensive and/or noisy, IMO. Skip dinner there.

EDIT: I just found the concert you are referring to http://www.italianticketoffice.it/the-three-tenors-classic-concerts-in-rome-church-st-paul-s-within-the-walls-264836-en.html. The included dinner could be fun, although there are many restaurants in the area where you can dine on your own.
