Ciao! I am looking for some advice to help me choose between these two places. Looking to stay for 3 nights while traveling in-between Florence and Milan.
Any thoughts on Parma vs. Reggio Emilia? Appreciate your insight and experience!

I'd choose Parma. Reggio Emilia is one of the towns in the area that I don't like. I've run a half marathon there so I spent a few nights and I visited with a friend another time. It is not on my list of places that I recommend (and I live half the year in the area) so I don't take any of my visitors there. I prefer Parma or Modena or of course my town of Vignola.
