Thoughts and tips on Pompeii Villas visit?

We're going to be in Salerno for several days in October and while I've been to Pompeii (years ago now) before I have not been to the out lying villas. I am considering getting the 3 day Grande Pompei ticket and spending one day on the site and another travelling back to tour at least some of the villas.

One concern I have is that the Pompeii+ ticket that includes the villa dei Misteri and Antiquarium as well as the main site seems to be listed one site altogether.

Since the ticket is one entrance per site only would I need to do the Pompeii+ sites like villa dei Misteri on the same day as the main site?

Has anyone explored all the outlying sites - Oplontis, Boscoreale, Museo Libero D'Orsi - especially using the provided shuttle buses from Pompeii? I'd love to hear any opinions, observations and ideas about these outlying areas.

I saw the Villa dei Misteri in Feb/Mar 2023 by simply walking down a path inside the Pompeii excavation site. There may have been a separate entry there; I didn't notice one way or the other. It wasn't a terribly long walk from the more central part of the excavations, so absent a mobility issue and with sufficient time, that's a place you can visit the same day as the rest of Pompeii.
