Hi, I’ll be visiting Milan. I am wondering if I visit the Theatro Alla Scala on my own vs. the guided tour, will I be able to see inside the theater? Or, would I need to be on a guided tour to see inside the theater?
Thank you,
Joanne

There does not appear to be a way to enter on your own, except for museum visit and one viewpoint (see the lower link, below).
You can find out about tours of the theatre itself here:
https://www.teatroallascala.org/en/visit/visit-the-theatre.html
For the museum:
https://www.museoscala.org/en/visit/museum-and-theater/plan-your-visit.html
Theater Visibility Admission to the Museum allows you to see the Theatre from the third-level boxes, but only when rehearsals, performances or events open to the public are not in progress.
Use the “best view” button to see a calendar of when you can get a look inside the theatre from the museum. It shows hour, day by day, when the theatre is accessible and when it is, or is not, illuminated.
Thanks. Very helpful.
