We want to find a great tour guide. All the tours I can find online include an entry ticket, but we already have tickets as we bought the Roma City Pass. Are there tour guides that we can find to go in with us and give us a great tour as we arrive or can go with us at a different rate as we already have our tickets?
You would need to contact the tour companies to see if they will give you a break on the price of the tour. You can book an official tour and not need to pay for entry.

A private tour is the way to go. We loved Sonia Tavoletta. [email protected]. 3 to 4 hours will cover the Colosseo, Forum, and Palatine Hill.
You could also try to book the € 5,00 group tour offered by coopculture:
You would buy the "free entrance + guided tour € 5,00" option.
This tour doesn't cover the underground or Belvedere so if you want a more extensive tour, then contact a resource such as Laurel has suggested. It's unclear what "great" means for you and how much you're willing to pay for tour.
Depending on how long you'll be in Rome and what version of the Roma Pass you purchased (is this the pass you bought: http://www.romapass.it/en/the-cards/?) you might just forego using it for the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine, use your free entry/entries for other attractions, and buy an all-inclusive tour for Colosseum/Palatine/Forum.
Thanks so much! Such great ideas. I have contacted Sonia Tavoletta by email and hope to be able to book her.
