The Palio di Siena in August

I am taking my family--two teenagers, my husband, and me--to Italy and we have a room in Siena during the Palio. I am having a hard time finding tickets. Any suggestions, or experiences watching the event?

Yes I did; they can offer me tickets for 350 Euro per person. I am hoping for something less.
