Rome is a very safe city so you should be fine no matter where you book. If you want to be close to the sites you'll want to be within the city walls. The city center is the pantheon and Navona areas. Other areas close to the sites are the colosseum, trevi, termini and spanish steps areas. Donna

The Ron in Rome website is invaluable. Take a gander before you depart. Loads of insightful and practical information that will add to your delight of experiencing Roma!
