The Last Supper Tickets - banging my head on the wall...

Ok...I am a super planner. I have searched the forum and found others have had difficulty with getting tickets. I have been watching for these tickets for over a month (need one ticket anytime April 28-May 1). When the FINALLY become available, I called and called and called --62 times in fact. Either busy or it puts me on hold then hangs up. I also tried on the website numerous, I get an error message. Now, the dates are not even available online. I refuse to pay extra for an outside tour company to get me in. Are there any other avenues to get one ticket for CENACOLO VINCIANO? Maybe a different phone number than +390292800360.

Thank you for your time and attention,
Lisa

Lisa, I have bought several tickets over the past few years through Select Italy. They charge a markup fee, but you will have a voucher emailed to you within seconds. Take the voucher to the ticket window about 30 minutes before your appointment time, you'll be fine.

You can buy the ticket for the Last Supper only, other options will try to sell you a city tour at a much higher price.

My time and emotional stability are worth the fee.

Lisa, if you have a reservation at a hotel in Milano, you might ask them to help you get a ticket. They can probably figure out how to get through. 18 months ago, I myself went on a guided Dark Rome walking tour ending at the Last Supper, which was worthwhile, but certainly cost more than just admission to the painting.

I also used Select Italy last fall and was very pleased with their service. My ticket cost $25.00 with zero hassles... It thought it was very worth the extra dollars.

Lisa,
I too am a super planner like you, but I somehow forgot to put the date of the reservation release of tickets for the Last Supper for the 2 possible days I will be in Milan into my calendar. When I finally tuned in, 8 weeks before my trip, all the dates were sold out according to the website. I sent an email to the concierge at my hotel who told me I was out of luck. I spent a morning calling the reservation center and never getting through. I must have tried over 20 times. I read somewhere in my research to check back daily on the website since tour operators take the tickets and release them when they do not book up their tours. Lo and behold, 2 weeks ago, I checked on the site (which I had put into my bookmarks) and there were tickets available for one of my possible dates. I happily snatched them up and felt like I won the lottery. Moral of the story, don't despair and check back daily for availability. My trip is in 10 days and I can't wait.
Have a great trip,
Eve
