What’s the best way to get to see in early September?
I always buy my tickets on-line. I feel a lot more secure knowing that I will get in (the lines on some attractions like this one can be long - and factor in that they only let 15 people at a time in to view it and you can imagine how long the lines can be).
Go to it’s website and see if there are any tickets available for your dates. Otherwise, go on a Milan city tour that includes a visit to The Last Supper.
Thanks, Joe and Suki. It appears that one has to go through a tour company to get the tickets. Nothing direct?
My dates in September sold out the day they were posted, so we had to book a tour. Now we are thinking the tour makes sense for us anyways since we are only in Milan for 2 nights (1 day). We'll get a good overview of the city.
All direct tickets are sold out for September. Although, you can continue to check as quite a few tickets opened up for August.

To get my tickets for September 20, I got up at 3:00 am the day they were released.
