4 of us will be traveling by car from Slovenia into this part of Italy for 4 days. We do not want to go to Venice, or Trieste. We are looking for the Italian small town/countryside experience. Any suggestions of which town would be a good base to explore the area? Any hotel/inn/pensione info?? Thanks, celeste
