The Doge, Venice

Looking to book a tour inside the Doge this September, that will see all highlights: council chamber, Doge apartments, Grand Staircase (Scala dei Giganti), the Golden Staircase (Jacopo Sansovino), Bridge of Sighs, prisons (Casanova's cell). There are many tours, but none look that impressive to me, or details are left out and there is no contact listed. Has anyone booked a tour to see the Doge that they were especially pleased with?

I think you’ll need to purchase a few different tickets/tours to cover everything you have listed here.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the Doge was a person, not a place. He was the head of the state of Venice. What you are referring to is the Doge's Palace, or the Palazzo Ducale.

Have you been looking at the official website? https://palazzoducale.visitmuve.it/

It spells out the 2 special tours that are avaliable as well as the general ticket. You do have to dig down to see what is included in the 2 special tours. Up to you whether to add one of these or just get the general admission. On our last visit, we just used the self guided tour in Rick's guidebook.

We were very happy with the English language Secret Itineraries tour of the Doge’s Palace in October, 2023. I purchased our tickets in mid-August for our visit.

Everything you want to visit is included in the standard itinerary and entry ticket. Are you specifically looking for a guided tour?
