I would love suggestions about where to stay for 1 night in July. I have only been to the Cinque Terre in the winter when there are no crowds! I will be traveling with 3 family members. Thanks for any help!

I agree with Roberto. July is often extremely busy there as that's peak tourist season, and it would be prudent to get a hotel booking SOON! One night will only allow a few hours to look around, but if that's all the time you have available it will have to do.
Do you have the Italy guidebook? That has listings for reliable hotels there.
