The Cilento Coast (south of Salerno)

I'm researching some "back door" type towns along the Cilento Coast, can't find much information. Has anyone passed through or stayed in this part of Italy within the past few years. Amalfi is beautiful but... would love someplace new, do you know what I mean? Thanks for any input.

Don't know about Cilento, but have you looked into Ponza? It's an island archipelago off the coast 1/2 way between Rome and Naples. Supposed to be very nice. Google for more info.
