My husband and I will be in Siena the end of March and want to spend two days in Gubbio. It seems difficult to get there, should we rent a car (we aren't fond of driving in Italy), hire a driver, is there a bus or train. The train seemed difficult, haven't found a bus, seems like you have to get to Perugia and then to Gubbio. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

"FES" or "FS" means Sundays and most Holidays "SC" means school days "FLV" means Monday through Friday THERE IS ALSO A DIRECT BUS FROM SIENA TO PERUGIA AT 17:15, ARRIVING AT 18:45: http://www.autobus.it/ib3.7.1/ibus/InfoSoluzione/InfoSoluzione There are onward connecting buses from Perugia to Gubbio in the early evening. Unfortunately, the bus at 17:15 is the only direct bus from Siena to Perugia. However, there are many buses from Siena to Arezzo, with onward Trenitalia trains to Perugia. "FOS" means Monday through Saturday solar (legal) time "FOL" means Monday through Saturday legal (daylight) time
