We have booked an RS Tour to Sicily on 2/15/13. As we plan to arrive a few days ahead of time ( given that there don't appear to be direct flights from NYC to Palermo in winter ) we thought it would make sense to spend that time in around Naples and some of the small towns around the Amalfi Coast, then head over to Palermo where the tour starts. Question: what is the best way of getting to Palermo from Naples. Do the ferries run then? Thanks

Rose, You could also check flights with Alitalia, as that would be the quickest and easiest method of getting from Naples to Palermo. I haven't checked on their schedules for February. I used EasyJet from Rome when I travelled to Palermo for the RS Sicily tour in September. Have a great time on the tour!
