Hello all:
Hoping everyone is finding some laughter - some measure of the bond that brings us all to this place.
Here to ask a question:
Can anyone bring me up to speed on the current conditions for those who make our experiences so rich on the streets of Florence - - the artists - the singers - the waitresses - the small cafes- the shop keepers - the children of Florence.....Are they well?
When can we return - when can we hear again the pulse of this magnificent city - When can they know again how much joy they bring to us all?
I miss the back street craft shops- and laughter on the other side of the bridge at Ponte Vecchio - in the evening.....I wonder .....if they are well.
Calvin, while I sadly can't give you a firsthand report from lovely Florence, I'm encouraged by the reports of musical and artistic events returning to the city. Just look at all this!

Love the idea of a "Kindness Festival"! It'll be interesting to see if it becomes an annual event? Livecams show quite a lot of movement around the city too. Dang, can't wait to go back!
Was thinking of you as I remember that you were thinking of staying longer in Italy to study art than the visa-waiver 90 days? Not sure if this might be something helpful for you?
