I am wanting to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome on a Sunday. Some websites say it is open on certain hours on Sundays and some say it is not open at all. Does anyone know for sure what the opening hours are for this basilica? Thanks.
This is the website:

Visiting is not allowed during services, and there's a heavy rotation of those on Sundays. Looks like the best opportunity would be between 4:30 -6:30 PM.
Sunday mass times: 8-10-11-12-13-18,30
Sunday open hours: 7,30-13,30 / 16,30-19,00
Read up ahead of time about the side altars (very interesting historically and artistically) and then consider going to a morning mass, because they are very diligent about locking everyone out during the afternoon break.
And don't fall for the fake petitioners in the piazza.
Thanks for your reply to my post. Your comments were helpful to me.
