On Friday I accessed my American Airlines flight and selected change seat. Lo and behold, several upgraded seats became available. I elected to choose two aisle seats in the same row. If we have a seat mate, better not spill over bc the center seat wasn’t extra fare. I was just glad we didn’t have to sit middle for the 11 hour flight back to the States. I do believe the switch should have been more transparent (I think that’s a fancy buzz word for excuse).It’s like ordering from Nordstrom and getting Walmart goods. I do like Walmart but when I choose. Let’s not even think about the aircraft. Had ba at least replied why I wasn’t able to select seats on the ba website when I purchased ticket and redirected me to aa when I initially made by purchase I could have jumped over. C’est la vie.
But, thank you for thinking of me. Will not let anything dampen our trip except maybe the rain. As I said, super community people.
