Has anyone used this widely advertised sounding too cheap service from Rome port to city

If you mean the service from Ciampino airport to Rome, the Terravision bus is your best option.

We've used Terravision several time--it was fine. I wouldn't hesitate.

Liz, just to clarify: you mention "Rome port". Do you mean one of the two airports or Civitavecchia, the seaport used for Rome?

There is no bus service by Terravision (or anyone else) between Civitavecchia and Rome. Take the train.
