Can the Termini Metro station be accessed from inside Termini train station (via a tunnel, perhaps)?

The Metro station is downstairs one or two levels from the train station. As the previous reply mentioned, just follow the signs.

Great, thanks. I couldn't find the Metro entrance on a map of Termini station.

It's very simple and when you get down there to the Metro level, there are two lines: A and B that cross there like an X. The direction of each line is denoted by the last station on each line. So in other words if you are taking the A line in the direction of the Vatican, the sign to follow is Battistoni since that is the last station on that line.

Found it! For whatever dumb reason, I thought the red M was for McDonald's! I didn't get much sleep last night ... :D
