Teens Need Museum Passes in Italy?

I am going to be traveling with three 18 year olds through Venice, Florence, Milan, Naples, Rome and some smaller cities in Italy for a few months this summer. But I would like to know if anyone knows if 18 year olds can get into the museums for free in these bigger cities? Thank you all for your help.

Sometimes the answer is no. This is one of those times.

In Rome the answer is NO, everyone under 18 gets in for free and they check passports to verify. If you purchase entry tickets online and don't qualify for the discounts they don't give you a refund for the incorrect tickets and charge you full price for the proper ones.

Prices vary depending on the museum.
Some are free under 18 (e.g. Uffizi), some offer only a reduced price between the age of 6 and 18 (e.g. the Vatican Museum).
If over 18, it's rarely free, but there are also reduced price tickets for youths under 26. For these some museums require the International Student ID card (https://www.isic.org/), others afford those discounts only to citizens of the EU or even outside the EU under reciprocity agreement.
Also many museums offer free admittance one day a month (for example the last Sunday of each month at the Vatican Museum or the first Sunday of each month at the Uffizi in Florence)
You need to go to the website of each museum you want to visit and inquire.
