tea at B&Bs in Italy

I'm one of the rare American who does not like Coffee. I am a teaholic, however, and wonder if I will have any problem finding tea in the breadkfast room of our two star b&Bs? I know Italy is such a coffee lovers paradise.

You can find tea, just request it with your breakfast in the morning instead of coffee, the owners will be happy to oblige. Otherwise, head to the nearest bar when leaving the B&B and order some tea there, they usually give you a whole tea pot of hot water.

Wow, you mean I'm not the only one? That sounds great. I hope the service in my 2star B&Bs will be as good!
Thanks,
Tracy

Hi Tracy. I am not a coffee drinker either. I felt really bad saying no grazie the first few mornings on my trips to Italy last year so I asked for Tea. I was presented with several selections each time. They were very pleased to be able to serve me something, and took pride in remembering the next morning to bring me the tea pot, tea bags and lemon wedges.

I have seen many people drinking tea at breakfast in Italy. Of course they were all from India, China or Great Britain...
