Taxicabs in Florence: 5 passengers?

We did that some years ago. Cab fare was 25E plus a couple more for luggage. But there were only two of us. You'll need to find a larger taxi or van. I don't recall seeing one at the airport but they may be there. If not, you may need two taxis.

Cheri, there are taxi vans at the airport. Never used one, but I've seen them.

Yes, there are vehicles to carry 5 passengers, but maybe not 5 passengers and their luggage. Depending on the size and quantity of your bags, you may have to take two taxis.

Try to contact your hotel by emaiil and see if they can assist you ahead of time with the possibility and pricing

Thanks for all your answers. We are only traveling with one carry-on apiece so hopefully we can all fit into one taxi. I have already contacted our apartment to see if they could make arrangements for transportation from the airport. They have yet to reply.
