Taxi / Uber / Car Service ~ FCO / ORLY

I'm hoping for advice comparing Uber to Taxi to Private Car (which company?) or the following airport-related trips (two adults). I'd like to know approximate cost for each.

1. Arriving at FCO (EasyJet from Orly in Paris) on Wed 18 Apr at 17:50...need to get to Hotel Smeraldo Vicolo Dei Chiodaroli 9 Rome 00186 IT

Thanks!

(I hope it is OK that I'm posting pretty much this same question on the Paris Travel Forum.)

FCO to Rome city center.

Taxi 48€
Private car 50€ (www.romecabs.com, which is a reliable company)
UberBlack 70€ (variable depending on surge pricing)

UberBlack, a black luxury limo service driven by licensed professional drivers is the only service allowed in Italy. Car service driven by non licensed professional drivers is not permitted by law since 2015, after a court decision.

We can not say enough good things about Rome Cabs (a private car service despite the name) that only cost a little more than a regular taxi. We've always been very pleased. Go to romecabs.com to check them out. We send an email detailing our needs and they answer us with a quote within 24 hours. We've always paid in cash (Euros) and the end of the journey but not in advance.

Or Leonardo Express train from the airport to Termini station, walk outside and catch the 40 express bus to Largo Argentina (where Julius Caesar was stabbed - Et Tu, Brute?), cross the street in front of the Feltrinelli bookshop, walk in front of the Rossopomodoro pizza place and turn right down the first little road, about 75 feet and the Smeraldo is on the left. Couple of steps down into the small lobby. Just around the corner is their Dependence and across the street from that is a fabulous deli with a couple of tables and plenty of great food.

When I was at the Smeraldo the roof terrace wasn't open for some reason, I expect that you will be able to use it. Many of the floors have two elevators at opposite ends, one is much more convenient for the breakfast room which downstairs from the lobby.
