Taxi to/in Ravello

We will be attending a wedding in Ravello and have decided to use Ravello as a base for the time we spend on the Amalfi coast. What is the availability of a taxi to either get us back from Amalfi or from the wedding venue to our lodgings late at night?

We once were staying in Amalfi and wanted to attend one of the concerts in Ravello. On the advice of our hotel manager we reserved a taxi for our return trip. I wouldn’t chance finding one without a prior reservation.

Welcome M&M-

Your question is a tad confusing.

Wedding is in Ravello and you are staying in Ravello?
Ravello is tiny, I would think if wedding venue is in town you could just walk to your lodgings- or will the wedding hosts provide taxis or at least info on how to get to/from?

Amalfi- the town- is the transportation hub- big parking lot at port that has buses and taxis readily available.

How long will you be staying in Ravello? It is lovely but not the best transportaton choice if you intend to spend days exploring the other Amalfi Coast towns.

Bus schedule here and lots of other good info on the area

Last bus Amalfi to Ravello is at 10 pm.

Sorry if that was confusing. Looking at lodging, some are within walking distance of the venue, Villa Eva. Some, after a long night of partying, are a ways away. I just want to see what our options are. As far as visiting other towns, we have no problem walking down in the mornings, but that long walk up the hills at night might be a problem! Again, just wanted to see what options we will have.

Villa Eva

That's a lovely venue!
It looks to me like it is along the walking path out to Villa Cimbrone. I don't think taxis would be able to travel along there, just by foot and/or cart.
You might try emailing Villa Eva and see if they can provide any info.

We stayed at Hotel Rufolo and enjoyed it very much- fabulous views and it's close enough to walk anywhere in town.

ETA
The Amalfi transp area stayed very busy thru the evening-there will probably be taxis available there-especially after last bus I guess
It will cost maybe 30/40 euros up to Ravello - a bit if a price gouge but when no other options..

Our adult daughter is staying with us, so we are booking a 2 bedroom apartment. Thank you for that info!
