Arriving in Milan Italy in the afternoon of June 21st, 2023. Looking for recommendations for either taxi or car service from Milan Central train station to Sirmione Italy. Any advice

Our choice would be train to Desenzano and ferry to Sirmione.
Trenitalia offers around 2 trains per hour, taking less than an hour by fast train (fare €16-26) or 1.5 hours by Regionale (€9,60). Short taxi ride from the train station down to the ferry dock, maybe 10€ at most. I believe the ferry cost us around €12 roundtrip, so a one-way would be half that. and it is very scenic on the short ferry ride.
