Hello
I will be flying out of Rome for an early 6am flight and I do not want to stay at an airport hotel my last night in Rome. I checked out Ron in Rome to see if taxis accept credit cards or cash only. Does anyone know? I have a feeling that I will be very low on cash.

These things can change quickly. But last year it was cash. That is why they have ATMs. Check with the hotel or find an idle cab and ask.

You need to save that 50€ deep down inside your moneybelt. Read Ron in Rome.com concerning early-morning transportation to the airport!

Use your credit card for some other expenses and put aside cash for the taxi to the airport, you don't want to hit a time-crunching snag in what will be the wee hours. Your hotel can reserve a cab for you the night before; fares for nighttime rides are higher, be sure to get a price.
