Does anyone know if taxis at train station in Alba. We will be picking up car at Hertz which is 2 km away. We could walk but would be nice if we could get a ride. Arrive at 11:53 and Hertz closes at 12:30. Wanted to get car before 2 hour lunch break. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

If there are no taxis at the station when you arrive, easiest thing is to call to have one pick you up. Their office is a 3 minute walk but I don’t know if there are cabs available there. When you come out of the station, walk to your right past the parking garage to the traffic circle. Their office is across the street. Here’s a link to the Langaservice Taxi with their phone number.
Hertz also has an office closer to the train station at Viale Giovanni Vico 6/D. That would be an 8 minute walk.
