Hi,
We would like to attend the Angelus by the Pope on Sunday, June 18th at 12:00. Is there an abundance of taxis right by St. Peter's square that can take us to the train station after angelus/blessing is over?
Yes. There are plenty and they are all white, but make sure you don't get on the wrong one by the same color.
What do you mean, get on the wrong one by the same color? Do you mean make sure it's a taxi and not some random car owned by local?
Yes, especially the white car owned by the local guy in the picture I linked (he's actually an Argentinian immigrant). He wouldn't appreciate it and he had very powerful friends upthere.
If you click on the link "one" in Roberto's reply, you'll get the joke.
ha! got it!
Do you think it will be hard to catch a taxi at St. Peter's Square considering there are so many people?
Do you think the taxi would be ok to take us to get our luggage 1st at City in Loop storage close to square and then on to Termini station?

There will be a lot of taxis circulating but you may have to wait so I hope you are not in a huge rush. The taxi driver will do anything you like as long as the meter is running.
I love Roberto's sense of humor. Something we need these days.
