Taxi from San Gimignano to Florence

Has anyone taken a taxi from San Gimignano to Florence? I will be in Florence for a few days and then hope to end my trip with a couple of days in San Gimignano. I have been there before on tours and by car but this year I am not planning either. I'm hoping to save time (if it's not extremely expensive) on my day of departure from the Florence airport (flight leaves in the afternoon) and avoid the bus/train option.

Check with your hotel in San Gim. to see if they have transportation available to the airport. If too expensive, you might have to take the bus into Florence and to the airport. It's good you're going out in the afternoon.
