Hello, can anyone recommend an English speaking cab company or service we can prebook for our ride from Rome (Testaccio area) to FCO. We are 4 people with limited luggage. I know there are buses/Leonardo express and the direct train from Ostiense, but we have a heavy item and wish to have door to door. Thanks in advance!!

I would just wait until I get to the hotel in Rome and have them book the taxi for you. It's always worked for me.

You can pre-book romecabs.com online. They are slightly higher cost than a taxi, but they will take you door to door and your vehicle will be large enough for you and all of your luggage.

Just checked romecabs.com, they need 36 hors notice and we leave tomorrow...... an other suggestions? O should we just get a regular taxi? Thanks

If you are staying in a hotel, your hotel should be able to arrange for the taxi. We were in.Rome in mid June and not only did the hotel arrange the taxi, but when we had a very last minute flight change, they were able to adjust our pick up schedule and get us a taxi on time.

I agree that asking the hotel to book the car service is the way to go. Almost always it will be a large comfortable Mercedes- air conditioned of course and taxi may not be.
