Taxi from Florence to Bargino and back

I have reservations for a wine tour in Antinori and I don't want to rent a car just for this one tour.

My primary option is the 370 A bus from the main Florence bus station.

If that doesn't work, another option is to take a private car company, which I am sure it won't be cheap.

Yet another option is to take a taxi. I tried using the FREENOW app, but it doesn't support driving to Bargino where Antinori is located.

Anyone have suggestions for other taxi companies that will take me there and back?

I don't trust Rome2Rio.com for very much, but it you ask it for transportation options for a trip like this, one of them will often be a taxi, and it will give you the name and phone number of the suggested taxi company. In the devout hope this information is more accurate than much of what Rome2Rio displays, I offer these two companies:

www.4390.it tel. no. +39 055 4390

www.4242.it tel. no. +39 055 4242

This is what Rome2Rio says about the fare:

"About US$35–45
"Doesn’t include surcharges, tolls or delays. Charges will vary, always check the price with the operator before travelling."

I’ve been to this site, saw the two options, and messaged both of them on WhatsApp.

At the moment, I’m not getting any response. I’m thinking that my request is for June and they might not want to respond to me now.

I’ll keep both of them bookmarked and try again when I’m actually in Florence.

Have you asked the winery or your lodging about transportation options?

My casual observation is a taxi or hired car&driver will run 1 euro per km +/- a bit, that the driver has to go.
At ~23km one way on a trip like this, 45-50 euro each way would not be surprising.

I sent an email to the winery asking about the walking distance from the bus station. If their response is that even though the bus station is near the winery, there’s no real way to walk to the winery, all then ask which taxi they recommend I take from Florence.

I’ll also reach out to my Airbnb host and ask.

At this point I’m willing to spend the money on a taxi as I really don’t want to go through the process of renting a car for a few hours.
