Taxi from Florence airport to hotel at night

Our flight gets into Florence at 10:25pm. Any suggestions regarding catching a cab at airport to get to our hotel, which is about 25 min. from airport? It will be for 2 women. Person at hotel strongly suggested taking a taxi vs. a shuttle.

Hi Anne. Florence airport is small. Simply step out the door and there is a taxi stand. If you have the name and address of your hotel written on a piece of paper, it will avoid any confusion. Enjoy your trip!
