Has anyone taken a cab from FCO airport to the Vatican area recently and remember what you paid?
Rome2Rio is showing $55-$70 for a taxi. I’m wondering how accurate that is.

Fixed rate from FCO to anywhere within Aurelian Walls is 50 euros. Supposed to be going up to 55 euros soon.
I am pretty sure "Vatican area" or at least where I assume you want to go is within the Aurelian walls.
Make sure you go to the official taxi rank in front of airport. Do not go with anyone who offers a taxi outside of that line.
