I haven’t seen any recent posts of this topic.
Anyone know the approximate cost of a taxi from Bologna airport to the middle of the city?
Will be arriving in the evening and probably don’t want the hassle of the airport shuttle and a local bus.
Also, I saw a post somewhere that there are 2 kinds of taxis?

We did this last year and I want to say it was about 20e - maybe a little more. Traffic seemed pretty heavy around walls to the city but it may always be like that.
I don't know about the different kinds of taxis, just went to the taxi rank outside the airport and grabbed the next one.

Mostly, for an hotel near the main square, is around 18/20€.
I don't know what do you mean for 2 kinds of taxi. There is only one kind in Italy. There are even cars-with-driver, but is a different kind of license and service.

Last March we paid 18€ (rounded up to 20 when we paid) for a taxi from the stand on Via Independenza to the airport.
